Thoracic Aorta Aneurysm and CAD

90 yo AAM with PMH of CAD was admitted with CP typical for angina.

CXR showed a thoracic aorta aneurysm.

The cardiac catheterization was canceled because ot the risk of of dissecting the aneurysm during the procedure.

CT chest of the thoracic aorta aneurysm

The aneurysmal size is 4.8 cm.

Surgical repair for thoracic aorta aneurysm is indicated for size > 6 cm.
